Low Becomes vice President of Pacific Group for Gannett

McLEAN, VA – Brent J. Low, publisher of The Spectrum, St. George, Utah, today assumed additional responsibilities as a vice president of The Pacific Group of Gannett Newspapers. Newspapers in Salinas, CA, Visalia/Tulare, CA, and Fort Collins, CO, will report to him.

“Brent has led St. George to successive years of outstanding performance, and he certainly has earned this promotion,” said Robert J. Dickey, president of the Gannett Newspaper Division’s Pacific Group. “He’s an excellent addition to the senior management team in the Pacific Group.”

Low has spent most of his newspaper career in St. George, beginning as chief financial officer in 1994 and becoming publisher in 1997. After serving as a publisher in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, from 1999 to 2000, he returned to St. George as publisher. He previously worked for American Airlines and General Motors as a financial analyst.

He holds bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Utah.
