Albrecht Named President, Publisher of St. Cloud Times
MCLEAN, VA – William G. Albrecht has been named president and publisher of the St. Cloud (Minn.) Times, it was announced today.
Albrecht succeeds Sonja Sorensen Craig, who earlier assumed a similar post at the Statesman Journal at Salem, Ore.
Albrecht previously was advertising director at the Argus Leader in Sioux Falls, S.D. He joined the Argus Leader in 1998. He previously was director of sales and marketing at the Duluth (Minn.) News-Tribune. He also has held management positions at newspapers in Iowa and Wisconsin.
Albrecht is a graduate of the University of South Dakota.
A successor in Sioux Falls will be named shortly.
