Gannett Board Approves Dividend Increase
ARLINGTON, VA – A dividend increase was approved today by the Board of Directors of Gannett Co., Inc., the 33rd increase since Gannett became a public company in 1967.
The new quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share, up from 22 cents, is payable on Oct. 1, 2001 to shareholders of record on Sept. 14, 2001.
The directors met in regular session today.
