Gannett Names Frank Spasoff Director of Internal Audit
MCLEAN, Va. – Frank Spasoff, CPA, has been appointed director of internal audit of Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI). He replaces Myron Maslowsky who became vice president of finance for USA TODAY last month.
Spasoff was the director of accounting and business advisory services for Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, where he planned, supervised and administered multiple audits annually. He also advised clients on initial and secondary public offerings, acquisitions and divestitures among other duties.
Spasoff also is a member of the TEDCO Incubator Advisory Board and the Potomac Bioscience Advisory Board. He has a bachelor of science in accounting and finance from George Mason University.
“Frank’s background and experience make him an ideal member of Gannett’s finance team,” said Larry Miller, executive vice president/operations and chief financial officer.
