WFAA Advertising Turns Frowns Upside Down for FastNewSmile
“Good Morning Texas; it’s like hitting the jackpot. Our office phones go absolutely insane, which is exactly what we want to hear,” says Almasri. “During consultations, I’ll ask new patients how they heard about us. They’ll say something like, “I saw your interview on Good Morning Texas a year ago, and I’ve been following you since.”
With two locations tucked away and hidden in medical buildings, FastNewSmile, a dental implant provider, had the task of reaching new patients and growing the business.
“We don’t have a street front where people can walk in and try your products,” says Riad Almasri, Founder and prosthodontist at FastNewSmile. “We needed a way to get the message out that we are here, we exist, and we can help you with your problems.”
To help build brand awareness, the team at FastNewSmile turned to WFAA, TEGNA’s affiliate in Dallas, and began to appear on its lifestyle show, Good Morning Texas.
Continuing The Momentum Through Different Digital Advertising Channels
Better yet, the spots and interviews on Good Morning Texas aren’t a one-and-done. Almasri will use these assets on other video platforms, such as social media, his website, and YouTube, to expand his reach.
“When you invest so much time and effort recording videos for commercials, analyzing things, and spending money on advertisements, you need to make sure that your ROI is worth that time, especially as a physician, doctor, or a dentist,” he says.
Team TEGNA Excels
To help with this task, Almasri relies on the good company of Juliann Delozier, an Integrated Account Executive for TEGNA at WFAA in Dallas.
“I’m very fortunate to work with someone that actually looks at these numbers on a daily basis, on a weekly basis, and says, ‘Well, you’re doing great. I’m not going to change anything,’ or ‘I feel that you’re not doing so good, and the numbers are going down here. We need to switch you up. We need to put you on a different program,’” says Almasri.
“If you are thinking about advertising with TEGNA, don’t second-guess yourself. Call them, make an appointment, and sit down,” Almasri advises. “They will take the time to understand your business.”
