Love is in the air, which means big business for brands across the country – to the tune of $25.9 billion in 2023. As Valentine’s Day quickly approaches, a survey from the NRF shows that lovers will spend big on candy and flowers, and singles will treat themselves to a special night out. Pets, friends, teachers, classmates, and co-workers will also be appreciated as the holiday is no longer just for couples in love.
