FCC Approves Merger with Multimedia
ARLINGTON, Va. and GREENVILLE, S.C. — Gannett Co., Inc. and Multimedia, Inc. announced today that the Federal Communications Commission has approved the transfer of control of Multimedia to Gannett.
Gannett and Multimedia said they expect the merger to close on Monday, Dec. 4. Upon completion of the merger, holders of Multimedia common stock will receive $45.25 per share in cash, without any adjustments.
